Winning a KEiBA can benefit your business/organisation in many ways but don’t just take our word for it….

A number of our winners have shared their experiences with us and have outlined how winning a KEiBA has improved business performance, motivated staff and attracted new customers.

Wow! What a year it has been since the big win at KEiBA 2019. To be recognised as Family Business of the Year 2019 was a true honour. As a Kent based business of over 50 years, we have received far more PR exposure – as a result of KEiBA – than ever before. The award has been a real catalyst for boosting our profile in Kent. It is a privilege to have become a part of the KEiBA family, we’ve met so many outstanding businesses along our journey.

The whole experience has been a joy and would highly recommend local businesses to get involved.

We were so honoured to win the Best Small Business of the Year Award. It was incredible for a business like ours, with the environment and ethics at its core, to win a mainstream category. It was also amazing to meet so many wonderful Kent based businesses and find potential collaborators and customers. We look forward to growing in this wonderful community.

The directors and staff at Jewelultra Ltd were extremely proud to win a KEiBA award in the category of Exporter of the Year.  Jewelultra have been consistently working on the development of our international business throughout Europe, The Middle East, Asia, India and America. Winning this award demonstrates the recognition of our achievements so far by the judging panel to which we are extremely grateful. We are not afraid to enter new markets and continue to develop new products to meet our customer’s needs.

We would recommend other Kent businesses to enter the KEiBA awards in 2019.

It is the first time we have entered these awards and the whole KEiBA experience has been greatly beneficial to the company, winning 2 awards this year has given us PR and marketing opportunities, as well as enabling us to meet local businesses, building our profile and networking. The judging process is rigorous and the competition fierce, so we are very proud of the recognition and exposure we have gained from the experience.

The awards gala event itself is also well organised, a really enjoyable evening and a great way to reward our staff for all their hard work.

It was wonderful to walk away from the KEIBAs with Young Entrepreneur of the Year alongside our hardworking team, who have shaped the success of the business over the last 3 years. Winning a KEIBA has added to our credibility, raised our profile locally and was a great thing to help boost our team morale on site. As with any start up, you often find yourself caught in the hamster wheel – and it was fantastic to take a step back and reflect on the recognition which the award gave us.

The Bedfont® family has been growing exponentially and thanks to the networking opportunities presented by the KEiBA Awards, we have partnered with great companies including ITL, Cripps LLP, Sleeping Giant Media, Paul Fowler Magic and more. By working closely with local companies, we can ensure the utmost quality and attention is given, resulting in our high-quality goods and services, whilst feeding back into our local community. To have won two KEiBA Awards for Medium Business of the Year and Export Business of the Year is an honour and shows just how these business relationships have benefited Bedfont® and can help to benefit you too.

This year was the first year that Childrensalon entered KEiBA, and we were honoured to come away with the award for Customer Service and Commitment. Customer Service is at the heart of everything we do, so to be awarded for it at a local award is a real credit to our business.

We received the accolade at a glamorous awards ceremony and were left feeling inspired by the incredible businesses on our doorstop. We would encourage other local businesses, big or small, to put themselves forward to get recognition for the hard work and passion that they put into what they do.

Being a new company one of the challenges is being recognised by potential customers as a genuine established company. Having a KEIBA award under our belt associated with well established organisations such as Kent County Council and The KM Group which we can display clearly on our website is a great way to show potential customers we’re a credible company.  Winning our award ‘Start-up Business of the Year’ gave a huge boost to moral in the company, just highlighting how we had made huge progress since Aero Legends Ltd started in 2014.

The exposure winning a KEiBA award has given us is absolutely fantastic. It reinforces all the hard work we do in our company, bolstering confidence in what we do; not just within our own ranks, but for businesses who want to work with us. The night itself is always wonderful, and a great chance to celebrate our achievements, as well as meet with businesses who are there to do the same.

Winning the KEIBA award in 2016 is a fabulous achievement, a real endorsement of what we strive to do every day. As well as the actual award though, there are more intangible benefits gained too – this recognition has boosted the team’s sense of pride; our customers have taken note and congratulated us; and other businesses now know who we are, helping our business expansion plans in 2017.
