KCC – Low Carbon KentBack to Sponsors
Sponsor of Commitment to the Environment Award
Kent County Council works with businesses in Kent and Medway to support them to tackle and adapt to climate change as well as taking advantage of opportunities in the low carbon market. Support is delivered through the Low Carbon Kent business network.
The network is part-funded by Low Carbon Across the South East (LoCASE), a European Regional Development Fund 2014-2020 project. KCC’s Environment Strategy sets out our aims for a high-quality Kent environment that is low carbon and resilient to climate change. Low Carbon Kent provides a network of businesses and public sector bodies who are working together to achieve this.
“Kent County Council and the LoCASE project are proud to sponsor this award once again. Through our Low Carbon Kent business network, we have worked with many Kent and Medway businesses which are offering strong and innovative green products and services, and many more which are operating in an environmentally conscientious way. Through this award we are pleased to be able to recognise and showcase businesses in Kent and Medway that are not only growing the economy of the county but doing so with full regard for the environment.“
