KEiBA 2018 is launched!
Great staff morale and a top notch profile are part of the prize package for companies which enter the most prestigious business awards in Kent.
That was the message from past winners to more than 150 people gathered at the Canterbury Cathedral Lodge for the launch of KEiBA 2018.
The event kicked off the entry process for the county’s biggest celebration of business achievement – fully entitled the Kent Excellence in Business Awards.
This year marks the 10th anniversary of KEiBA, which culminates in a gala night at the Kent Event Centre in Detling, attended by more than 600 people.
Jointly hosted by Kent County Council and the KM Media Group, there will be 16 categories to enter for companies and organisations based and operating in the county.
“Winning a KEiBA is a really special achievement,” said Luke Quilter, chief executive of Sleeping Giant Media in Folkestone, who won entrepreneur of the year in 2017.
“You’re up against tons of great companies, so receiving an award is something to be truly proud of.
“I would definitely recommend entering the KEiBAs to any business in Kent that’s looking to gain more exposure, and, for the fortunate few, to fill up the awards cabinet.”
